There is a nonrefundable application processing fee of $10.00, which is due at the time your application is submitted, this can be cash or credit (in person) or via PayPal.For this and other reasons, we do not post a listing of our adoptable birds. The most successful adoptions occur when potential adopters come to the rescue with an open mind instead of wanting only a specific type of bird. Feathered Friends Sanctuary and Rescue is dedicated to providing a safe place for parrots and educating the public about the unique needs of parrots in.These costs vary and are specific to each individual bird (medical fees, medications, special diets, etc.). There are additional adoption fees to cover the rescue's cost of caring for the bird.For adoptions, we are only scheduling volunteers on Saturday and Sunday at this time. If your application for adoption is approved, you must be prepared to visit our facility and complete a minimum number of volunteer hours.If we do not receive a response from our initial email, your application will be deleted from our system in 30 days. It is your responsibility to check your spam folder.
